Let the whole forum load and look at the earlier posts regarding oil leaks. Probably the special feature of the savage - the oil plug above the head bolt leak. Look with a flahlight in the recess by the exhaust flange. If it is oily there, probably found the source. It runs down out of there and the air moves it along the head to cylinder seam and then back on the tool box, battery and air filter cover area. Also along to the front of the saddle bags if you have them. At 2 months I would think it is a warranty item. BTW they should have retorqued the head bolts (including the one under the plus) at the 600 mile service. As it will loose lots of oil if the plug were to dislodge, be sure to check the oil level daily or at least as a pre-flight before each ride. Max
